Sherwood Oaks Swim Team

My name is Eva Aurich-Mendoza and I have a huge passion for both swimming and kids and have dedicated the majority of my life and career to both of those.  I'm a former teacher and currently work as a pediatric physical therapist in Katy I.S.D.  I have over 23 years of experience coaching and teaching swimming.  I was a competitive swimmer growing up and have participated in the master's swim team at the YMCA.  I have previously coached summer swim teams through the YMCA and was the head coach for Fonn Villas Swim Club for 10 years.  I was also the assistant swim coach at Stratford High School for 4 years.  I have been an active member of the Sherwood Dolphins for the past 3 years when my son started as a half lapper.  I have helped Coach Robin with swim clinics, training volunteers, and running the home meets as the starter and meet director.  I enjoy being a part of this swim team and community and I'm looking forward to the upcoming swim season with you all!
